Instructor of the year honor

Eagle Paragliding's chief Instructor Rob Sporrer received USHPA's Instructor of the Year Award in 2002. Every year USHPA issues the award to the person making the biggest contributions to our sport in the United States.

Airdesign was formed in 2011 by Stephan Stieglair and Martin Gostner. Stephan was the lead designer at UP for many years and has designed some great cross country gliders. The first glider released by Airdesign was the Pure, an EN D class glider that was quickly flown to the top of some podiums in Europe in 2011. Martin Gostner used to work at Airwave before starting Airdesign with Stephan. Martin handles all sales and marketing for the company, which is based in Tyrol, Austria.
